My Courses and Sessions
I understand the challenges faced by MBAs in TIER 2 institutes. Finance is not as tough as it may seem to you. If you were good enough to solve Compound Interest problems in school, most Corp Fin concepts are within your reach. Very often it is a question of guidance and hard work. Combine both and you should be good enough to be considered for smart Finance jobs. In my 1 on 1 sessions the goal will be career guidance in line your life stage. Theory, colleges and real world are very different so you will be getting a recruiter's perspective.
This is just basic website so you might feel a little lack of ease here. Basically, on career guidance, I will calibrate the session for your needs, short term as well as a plan that is executable over 6-12 months. For Finance Courses, we will use Corporate Finance textbook by Brealy, Myers and Allen as reference for structure and content. For basic course, we will work on the assumption that you know nothing of Finance, for the advanced course, our assumption will be that you are quite proficient in basics like reading financial statements, NPV/IRR, CAPM etc and you are seeking to understand "Whys" and limitations.
