The High Cost of "Free" Career Advice

Every year, thousands of MBAs graduate with a degree in one hand and a generic, ineffective career plan in the other. They relied on "free" advice—from well-meaning parents, academic professors, and placement coordinators who haven't seen the inside of a corporate boardroom in years. MBA Placement interviews need much more than that.

The advice was free. The results are expensive.

If you are an MBA student or an early-career professional, you are standing at a fork in the road. You can pay for the truth now, or you can pay with your career later.

The Invisible Tax on Your Career

Most people don't realize they’ve made a mistake until they are two years into a dead-end role. By then, they’ve paid an "invisible tax":

  • The CTC Gap: The difference between the job you got and the job you were capable of if you had the right strategy.

  • The Momentum Loss: It is five times harder to pivot out of a bad first job than it is to start in a great one.

  • The Confidence Tax: Two years of being "just another employee" erodes the ambition you had during your MBA.

When you add it up, the cost of "figuring it out yourself" isn't free. It costs lakhs in lost earnings and years of frustration.

Why My 1-on-1 Sessions Are Different

I don't sell "inspiration." Inspiration lasts 48 hours; a strategy lasts a lifetime.

When you book a session with me, you aren't paying for a "talk." You are paying for a Recruiter’s Audit.

  1. I audit your current trajectory: I tell you exactly where your profile will land in the real market—not the campus bubble. Choosing your first job is important as it can save you alreast two years of growth. And no, it may not the highest payoing option available to you.

  2. I identify the "Gaps": I point out the blind spots you are ignoring. Most MBAs dont identify their strengths ever, most answer Placement Interview Questions in a langauge that suits a non-MBA, plain graduate. In most cases, they dont even explain their summer internship well.

  3. I help you sttategise : It could be instant one week counselling to help you get placed better or it could be to build an Executable Map over 6-12 month designed for your specific life stage.

Truth is a Filter

I know my sessions aren't for everyone. They aren't for people who want to be told they are doing "great." They aren't for people looking for a magic shortcut or a guaranteed placement. They are for the few who realize that information is cheap, but insight is rare. You’ve already spent lakhs on your education. RoI on this spend requires you to invest a little more. Pay now or pay with your career later for years.
